I suppose the global warming debate is entertaining... in the long term roughly 4 billion years from now, the sun will expand into an orange giant and incinerate the earth... so I guess you can call me a solar system warming believer. I do not advocate spending any tax dollars to prevent solar system warming, although I do like the idea of space exploration (I guess that痴 the Trekkie in me).

There was a science fiction story about the sun blowing up with people on the night side of the earth being aware of it due to seeing the light on the moon then discussing what to do in their last hours. . Seems to me that if they could see the light, the heat would also be present.

Id like to find out what movie that was... Just thinking about it, the sun has been burning billions of years ( and if this is the same sun this rock has ever had during this time ) imagine all the sudden weightless, cold and imploding , and the thing about it is, It can happen any day.

Bear in mind the climate situation reacts to physical inputs with hard data, it don’t care if anyone’s been lying to you or changing soft data. It just reacts to whatever the current physical situation is! Climate don’t care what you think.

That's because the AGW "believers" have taken up all the moral high ground and have found a way for themselves to be better than "those others". Be careful not to fall off your lofty position.
