I like the way Henry loads and unloads, to me that is the best part of Henry, especial when it comes to unloading. All others you have rack the lever lever back in-forth. My oldest son has the 1860 45 colt reproduction, what a nice straight shooting gun that is, I have the Henry 44mag. I wonder if this is why Yanks and Rebels cant get along.........

Well you don't have to rack the lever back and forth to load, just to shoot.. at least with my Marlin.. just slide them in the port on the side till its full.

I did some filter changing yesterday since it was wet outside. According to the date and hrs on the filter, 3 years might be why the filters on the dirty side, the fuel filter has gone 200 hr so figured it's time for that to.
* I just wish my son didn't have to fill the fuel tank 4 days before, quite a trick to stop the fuel flow with a fuel tank. There are 3 hoses to pick from and figure out which one the fuel was coming out of, the 3rd choice was the one we had to plug. Kuboto should've put a shut off valve on that hose, is that to much to ask for after I got my garage floor all cover with fuel and sawdust.

Interesting, my Kubota 3540 has the shut off for when I change the fuel filter.

And I hope you blew that radiator out while you were there..:D

Well wasn't sure where to put this as there is no woodworking section here that I can find. Been milling up a bunch of hickory and oak for a new set of kitchen cabinets. I'll be building them case construction style so I'll have to cut a bunch of plywood, and those sheets get heavier every year trying to throw them up on my table saw, so... I found a used Milwaukee Panel saw on craigslist at a great price so I pulled the trigger.. Brought it home cleaned it up and adjusted it and it seems to work fine on a couple test pieces anyway, might still need some more fine tuning. Man this thing will help this old guy with cutting up full sheets of plywood! Great addition to my shop me thinks!! Now I just have to find room to put it!!

A pair of needle nosed vise grips does a perfect job of pinching the hose and shutting the fuel flow off...

Just adjust them so they stop the flow, but don't damage the fuel line.

I agree with the vice grips, but I like to sandwich the hose between two pieces of wood inside the vice grips, easier on the hoses.

I致e seen and had Winchester痴 like that but never a modern day Henry.

Never had or knew anyone with a Henry, but I've heard of them. I have a model 92 lever that was my grandfathers. He bought it because he was lefty, any side discharge model put powder in his eye, also the casing was a distraction. Top discharge solved that.

I have been here a while and this is the heaviest wood I have ever processed. Dark color, smells kind of weird and gets into your sinuses. The heviest rounds at the trunk I could not even think about lifting and had to move them with a grapple.

Made up a hitch on the rear of the processor so I can tow the conveyor in one trip. It痴 full swing processing season now, most folks here like to wait and don稚 bother keeping a year ahead. How they get some wood to burn is beyond me!
