My Mom things this is a huge turnoff for being rude. I think anyone that would be interested in said truck to begin with wouldn’t think anything of it. I did it because I’ve sold vehicles in the past and got dozens of messages in one case close to 100 asking questions that were already in the description. Here’s the description.

“READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE MESSAGING. It’s running and driving and fully operational. It’s missing the passenger side fender flare. A new one on Amazon is $150. The hood has been broken around the headlights and screwed back together but it’s fine now. I took the seat out hoping to find a better one. Edit I have a good seat in the truck now. 5/6 of the tires are almost brand new. The chip bed is 11’ feet. It’s a 5 speed transmission single speed rear end. 137,000 miles. 366 gas motor. If it’s still posted it’s still available. “

I’d be all over that one!!!

It’s obviously not a show truck but the description is honest. I never claimed to be a used car salesmen either.

I don't think it's rude at all. People realize that sellers have to wade through a lot of crap responses from stupid people, so I don't think a serious buyer will be at all bothered.

Exactly my take on it. Maybe if was selling Lamborghinis customer service would be more important but it’s a 1994 gmc.

I would take the part out about the seat, if it has one in it now no one needs to know it was out. Otherwise it's an honest ad which I like.

The only ads i hate are the ones where guys are like only call me, only call me between these times, if you arent going to buy it dont come to look, I really dont need to sell it so bother my time kind of things.

Whats also bad is no pictures, and basic missing information such as make, model, year, miles/hours and yes price.

I assume make/model/year and auto/manual transmission is listed elsewhere?

Right now I'm looking for a 24" wide washer dryer combo, 95% of adds are just "Washer-dryer", no make or model, no dimensions, ad doesn't even say if electric or gas. Just a picture.
Sometimes it say "Apartment sized". WTF does that mean?

This brings me back to my lifelong question: "Why are people that stupid?" Is it that: 1) They DON'T think; or 2) They DO think and this is the stupid decision/conclusion they came to?
