Maybe they were just testing it to see if it’s alright. At least that’s another posters take on the dump truck on the trailer. Just so we’re on the same page the dump truck is 25k or so on what looks like a 7,000 pound trailer maybe a 10k trailer behind a F-250. The skid steer is 8700 pounds on a setup good for maybe 3k.

The guy with the skid steer will be fine if he tightens his anti-sway all the way and stays in 4wd.

According to John Deere, the operating weight of the 323E is 9,440.

That skid steer reminds me of when I bought a BIG vermeer stump grinder at auction. Hooked it to my Dakota. It was a snowy day and I got to talking with a guy that got there too late and had wanted to buy that machine. He asked me very non chalantly, "so what are you going to pull this thing with" . I couldn't even get out of the auction yard up a slight incline. I unhooked it and let a friend who was there with his Chev half ton tow it to another friend place nearby until my first friend could bring it the hundred miles to me. As it was, the thing towed terribly wanting to go into a wobble.
