D@mn . . . hopefully . . . and jk96 . . . I think you know what needs to be done.

Oil leak is coming from an o-ring on the engine. Requires engine removal and split to get to it. Error code is an issue with the throttle body and needs replaced. Prob looking at $3k in repairs. Tractor will not be coming home. Waiting on the final numbers for a trade in to a Kubota L60.

If it wasn't leaking before, that sounds very odd.

I say it came back with a leak but it's possible it started in the whopping 10 hours I put on the tractor before the error code started. I only noticed it because I had it on the concrete driveway which is rare.

Should have a new quote back today and hopefully an idea on lead time on the kubota.

I'm curious where there is an O ring on the engine that would cause an oil leak?

I'm curious about a lot of things with this dealer/shop.

The dealer I purchases from took care of all issues prior to starting this post. The current dealer is my closest dealer and completed the last repair of the driveshaft, front end, and transmission. Eddy not sure exactly but I do know the engine must be removed to access it and if you look at all of the crap on these things now I'm sure a whole lot of other stuff has to be removed as well. Estimate on the current repair is approx $3k for both issues.

Unfortunately had I taken the trade earlier and chose not to fix mine the first time I would be into the new tractor for about $5k less than I am now. New tractor will be a Kubota Grand L6060 with cab. Added several items including 3 rear remotes, 3rd function diverter, rear work lights, defrost kit, rear wiper, and radio. Need to see if I can get the dealer to load the rear tires if I provide the wiper fluid. Only drawback is the ugly *** color. I think orange is probably my least favorite color of all of the brands.

Lol. I hope so. As long as I can keep it out of the shop for more than 6 months I'll be happy.

I was at my folks this weekend and one of the neighbors who was a life long IH guy has gone Orange...........I said WHAT!!! you guys have orange now? he said yep, we like the dealer and got good trade value and are in the leasing game with them. They got their first one in 2015...........the two they have now are just shy of 2 yrs old. their biggest issues have been with the plugs/wiring and getting moisture in the harnesses and quirky electronic issues. They have Two M7 units, a 130hp and 150hp. They had a couple lesser 100 to 125hp units on the first lease and they were ok he said, same kind of electronic things. His biggest accolade was for the new Kubota Baler they bought last year. He said his grandson ran 1700 bales with it this year and the only time he got out was to put netwrap in it i presume they never had one miss on a bale or issue of any kind. I thought that was some pretty good performance. He said their bales are between 1400 and 1500 lbs. I dont have anything orange I cant get past the chip on their shoulder around here nor their local dealers i have tried to do business with.

Dealer I'm working with and closest dealer carries both Case and Kubota. Bought my first tractor from them and have used them for service in the past on my previous tractors. Great people and good service.

Will do. Got a call from the dealer yesterday that their rep has located a tractor. They are picking up next week. Probably looking at another week or two after that to get all of the added options in and installed.

The end is near. They started assembling the tractor today. The add on options should show up next week.

Pedal is not my favorite either. Would prefer two independent pedals. I'll post my thoughts once I have a little time on the new machine. Really going to miss the CVT transmission.

What are you having them add to the tractor?

rear work lights
side and rear window defrost (defrost wires embedded in glass)
3 rear remotes total
top & tilt kit
3rd function diverter valve for grapple and snow blade cylinder
load rear tires
