AR Rifles..

I keep hearing about the younger generation not liking guns. Maybe it is just the industry I work in but I don't see it. I work with a lot of them. All have guns. Most have at least 1 AR. Even the girls. Yeah they are truck drivers and dock workers for the most part. But even the office workers. The few that don't own any are not anti gun and will meet you at the range to shoot. They just have other financial priorities. Same with most of the customers I deliver to. We had a bad ballot measure that passed here by Seattle Libtards and unfair ballot title and advertising. So it is a subject of discussion everywhere I go. Both how to fight it and how to get around it. And it is not hard to get around most of it as it was poorly written. But other than my gals cousin who is not young and a Kalifornia resident I don't know anyone who is anti gun. No one knows has many gun owners there are or who they are in most states. Even here now the backdoor registration is only on certain types purchased after last July here in the state. I think the Libtards may be surprised by who does own them. As people are finding out the ballot measure made all semi auto rifles Assault rifles they are getting very angry. 2020 may not go well for Dems here. They think it's OK that a 10 22 or Marlin 60 is an Assault rifle. People who own them don't. It was on the ballot in the low turnout mid terms.

Wow. After they ban all "assault rifles" someone will shoot other people with a bolt action. Then what?

After about 100 years of nitpicking, they will ban rifles that have an internal or external clip.

:D

I'm sorry, I think I know a decent amount about guns, but I don't have my head so far up my arse that I would correct someone on the proper terminology between clip and magazine. I'm not going to knock a guy for not knowing the serial number of his guns off the top of his head.

Long story short, Colt's rifles were overpriced:laughing:
When I bought my MP15 the Colt's were in high demand and definitely overpriced. I read a fair amount of hype on them and actually that was what I planned to buy until LGS guy convinced me I should go with the S&W. He had a MagPul edition that was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the Colt and had better grips, butt stock, and fold down sights IMO.

I see Colt ceased production of their AR platform for civillian use. Don't believe it has anything to do with the current political climate and more to do with the saturation of the market by so many manufacturers.

I do know one thing and that is... If the current tack continues, those of you that own an AR (of any make) better enjoy it because it's gonna go bye-bye. The government will want to 'buy them back'. Something I don't get in as much as you didn't buy them from the government in the first place.

Like I tell my friends on the Smith and Wesson forum, we have embarked on the 'slippery slope' toward gun confiscation, the abolishment of the Second Amendment and finally, a socialist government where you, as a individual, will do what the government says because you have no recourse.... You will have nothing to resist a tyrannical government. That is, in a nutshell, what this whole thing is about, iron fist rule with no recourse.

I would love to know the recipe!

He told me I wasn't protecting my family to the best of my ability; that I was leaving our welfare to chance should something happen. After much thought I agreed with him. Took my wife and youngest son still at home and went to gun safety classes, then shooting classes, and finally concealed carry classes. The peace of mind that came from all of that is empowering.

It won't be "us". It will be our grandchildren and their children. It seems to be what the younger generation wants. :confused3:
