Actually that is where I come in usually, then stand in front of the stove for a minute. It is really nice except when I need to do any of the remodel stuff, I instantly start to sweat. All our friends make fun of us saying they know to wear t-shirts in the winter when they come over.

Two things.. ONE, I don't even want to mess with one of that size, and TWO, where did you get that turner or did you make it?

ONE, I've done a LOT of them that size and a few even bigger. TWO, Norwood Industries...

THREE, it's not permanent, it swivels out of the way, or you can lift it out of what holds it, and set it aside.

Yes, I've seen some of your pictures. I'd need a bigger mill, a bigger tractor, and the list goes on!

My tractor grunts with a 12-14 footer in the 20 inch diameter class. And I just do this on my own for me for lumber is all. I didn't even get my first mill till I was 62. I CAN still roll that log on the mill with a cant hook.. I'm pushing it sometimes but I get it done..

I did make an attachment to use my 20V cordless drill to power it, but we never seem to use it...

If you would stop taking your flitches off azzbackwards, the winch would work for you too! ha ha ha

But I'm right handed plus I only have 4 sides to my mill, the log deck is on the other side where I stack logs, slabs come off the far end, planks and boards and board trimmings come off the front end so that leaves me with one side left to stack up filches to get trimmed, sometimes a lot of them.

One thing that really cuts down re-sharping band blades is shaving off some dirty bark, a chainsaw planner attachment works pretty good for that.

That looks like an expensive machine. It would interesting to setup and watch work.

About $8,000.00 in those three pictures, 5k on the two WoodMizer sharpener and setter. I had a video on them two but lost it somewhere, need to re-shoot when I'm around when my son is using, but couple months ago I happen to be around to watch him do his shingle saw.

Came across an excellent free find on craigslist. Full 16 foot dump trailer load of dead ash logs. They even loaded them into the trailer for me. What came out was the smaller pile. Hard to pass up even if I dont NEED the wood.
