If he’s got pictures of you peeing in it who’s to say you didn’t put the corn there too? Especially if you’re trespassing to pee. Do you have pictures of it being put out? It’s all on you.

CWD laws in my state make it illegal to put out any food that will attract deer year round. If you put out say corn for turkeys it has to be fenced in where only the turkeys can access it and keep the deer out. Also salt licks, mineral blocks(unless you are a farmer with cattle in a pasture),deer cocaine and other attractants are considered bating and you cannot hunt the area for 10 days after the attractant is removed.

It's a hunting joke. You obviously haven't seen the sign which I was (mis)quoting.

It's bow season in Indiana now. The land next to me has changed hands and someone put up a deer stand over there a few feet off of me. Noticed that below their tree is a pile of corn. Is that legal?

Not in Indiana. Baiting of deer is not allowed.

If he has proof of me peeing, he would have to have proof I was baiting, if that's what he wants to claim. I can't hear it now, "officer, he peed and put bait right at the bottom of my stand!" Officer, "show me proof of both".

If I wanted to bait, I'd bait on my place without any cameras, that he knows of.

If they do that in our area, its common practice to save as much of your pee as you can stand and spread it around the hunting area during the middle of the day. The deer with smell it from a long ways away and not come around.


No deer = no hunter.

Is it common practice in your area to also save pee for red light runners and parking violators? I know of a few people that took it on themselves to punish a lawbreaker and got their jaws boxed.
Around here, it's common practice to report lawbreakers to authorities and let them handle it.

Sounds like a wonderful place to live. Around here, they ask to be called and respond quite rapidly. DNR police. County police. City police. Tribal police. They all respond fast and professionally here. Can't say enough good things about them.

Ummm, the guy is baiting your hunting area for you at zero cost and effort to you. Your odds of seeing and/or getting a deer most likely go up. Think outside the box. Deer just don’t show at a bait pile. They have to travel.
