Makes ya wonder,,,,, what's the average age of members here? I'll be 68 in a couple weeks.

So your average age is 34. That should make you feel pretty good!

Oldballs will be 87 in December...

Yesterday he stacked some square bales....just three high. Changed some tires on a trailer for a hayride this weekend. Rounded up 10 pumpkins for the party..........Took a nap .....Fixed some dinner....then watched a western. Will probably plow the 50 x 100 garden today, since it is now dry enough. Life is good for many of us. Some aren't so blessed.

I remember Soundguy and others who have passed or don't post anymore. They shared with all of us their knowledge and advice. I'm thankful for them, especially as a newbie to tractors and such.

I am fairly new in this group and I have learned so much from this sound guy and a small few others in here. The knowledge of you all including him sure does show with age in a group like this. Thank you all for posting and commenting on your fixes and other chats. I almost have a feeling like a minor but I just had a birthday yesterday and I am now 53. Again thank you for all that each of you say and do here. Your wisdom is a beautiful thing. Wish all of you well and to keep socializing and sharing your wisdom.

Age is irrelevant when it comes to sharing technical information.

One younger guy in our sub-forum (orphan-model Yanmars, where mutual support is important) started off very politely calling me Sir. No need, I replied! I was learning a lot of new stuff reading his thoughtful posts. A couple generations of age difference was meaningless in that context. We've become respected friends. (Although I suspect when I post something revealing my liberal perspective he politely skips over it. )

I agree the experience really and the number of great informational posts one does is perfect too! Age really is just a number.
