Anti-Gel Additive Non-Sceintific Tests

I watched this a couple days ago. I've been using howes diesel treatment for the past 2 years with good results in the winter but thus made me question whether or not I should be using something different. I live in NB canada and the winters can get pretty cold here so an anti gel is a must as I found out the first winter.

I kind of thought that Standadyne was some kind of economy product because it didn't have the marketing hoopla. Apparently it's right up at the top in effectiveness.

Stanadyne fuel treatment was the product of choice at the CaseIH dealership I worked at in the mid 1990’s. Kinda under the radar but an excellent product.

There's a thread running around here somewhere based on this same video. Was running hot a few days ago.

I posted it on that thread. The founder of our local JD dealership, now absorbed by a group, also always spoke about Standadyne.

Stanadyne was a huge injection pump manufacture for many years a great many of the older farm tractors and truck used there injector pumps,
I would almost say that every US tractor manufacturer used a Stanadyne pump at one time or another, Oliver, Case, IH, JD Allis all used them.
Mechanical Rotary - Stanadyne

Even Ford Tractor Operations (USA) before they got on the CAV bandwagon.

I'm in Ontario and it can get quite cold here too. I've been using AMSOIL Diesel All-in-One for a few years now and real happy with the performance of my Kioti CK30 in the winter, especially the noticeably better cold weather startups. A recent test shows it outperforms many brands including Howes. If you can't find it locally you can order it on-line and it comes right to your door in a couple of days. Works for me. Dutchy AMSOIL Diesel All-In-One or the Injector Clean and Cetane boost during the warmer seasons AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean + Cetane Boost

Expensive. If it's effective that doesn't matter. If it's no more effective than others, it matters a lot.

PS white bottle costs .02 cents per gallon to treat.
