As a76 yr. old widower of 30 years, I wouldn't mind having a single lady nearby in need of assistance.

Sorry. When we think of New York City, we just say New York, forgetting about the state. I go to Niagara Falls to pick stuff up and never really think I am going to New York!

Most times I will take the time to clean the neighbor's drive near the road. His snow equipment (excavator business) includes plow trucks and a 644 end loader with a plow. My smaller tractor and toolcat just works better out by the road and maneuvering around. This way he can quickly plow his long drive without having to be in the road much. If I'm ever buried in 10 feet of snow, I'm sure he would be helping me out with that big Deere 644. It is just part of being "neighborly". :drink:

Did he clip the walls of that outbuilding behind him a few times....or did somebody leave their level in the tool box that day it got built?
What is that?

I haven't read the whole thread, for all I know you may have already "solved" this.
My 2/5 of a nickle;

LEAVE IT ALONE !
It is the insurance company's problem and ANYTHING you do that worsens the situation will be YOUR FAULT
and (likely) not covered.

Even if you improve things and the professionals come along and turn it bad they could blame you.

Oh yeah, not to mention that the whole damned thing could come down ON YOU !

No tractor is worth getting hurt for, it is a tractor, that is all it is.

Too late to the party.

The small building with the funky walls was where the milk cans were stored until the wagon came and picked them up. There is a old bathtub shaped pit made from concrete and they say that is where the cans would sit, in cold well water. The old well casing is still in there too. I wonder if a windmill stood there and that is why the walls are angled? I will have to ask them.

No shortage of men out there allowing themselves to be taken advantage of.

I don't know if the OP is still around. If you are, here are a couple of places which could probably fix your tire if there is a problem.

Hey Jstpssng...thanks for the link. You're not gonna believe this, but I worked for them a few years back at their Chevron/C-store (it's now a Shell). Weekend graveyard shift. First time EVER they hired a female for it. Worked for 2 years and then suddenly "she" called right before my shift and said sorry it's just not working out and don't need you any more. WTF??!! I filed unemployment (first time in my life) and got it ;)

Besides that their service rig won't come out here because the road is too rough. Buncha sissies  The guys in Seligman don't do mobile calls any longer. They work on my truck and are super. The Dad knows those trucks inside-out :cheerful:

Insurance adjustor is coming out Wed am to inspect the damage. Since the power was out for almost 40 hours, all the fridge/freezer food I lost will be part of the claim. Who knew!!

Oh...a milk house. Thanks. ....but now this Yankee wants to know "Why would the walls be angled if a windmill stood there?"
