What do you do with your Instant Pot you cant do with a crock pot?

On the subject of potatoes, I toss in a few sweet potatoes when I make them, it seems to add a little moisture. I only mash, I do not bother with whipping.

I have not but it sure sounds good!

Goulash is finally on deck for tonight but I will not add elbow noodles. I think we will just eat it over sauerkraut. I know, I am weird. :licking:

Yes, we know.:laughing: I am new to authentic German foods but am enjoying the new tastes and textures. Good Food! Growing up, I was aware of German roots but was never introduced to the cuisine. Not sure why.

Close enough for the girls I go with. I know a lot of the foods were similar yet slightly different in different regions. Wife's side were German/ Ukrainian. My side was German/English/Prussian and Scottish. So many foods to try. So little time.

Yes. I am not German at all but I do have some Hungarian in me. Also, Sauerkraut did not necessarily originate in Germany even though the word is German.

Not at all . . . I love a good goulash . . . over just about any kind of starch (carbs) we add to it . . . :thumbsup:
