My taxes next year will be near 40k..iIt’s never getting better here. Mass is a democratic toilet ..all they want to do is tax you death. Then Tax you again.

When it comes to taxes our government are experts at gouging...

We visited Australia about 30 years ago with the idea of possibly moving there. Beautiful country, but the taxes convinced us to stay here.

7,000 sq ft house, 1500 sq ft shop, small guest house, 94 acres... $4 grand a year. And we live in one of the most beautiful places in America, the Blue Ridge Mountains. You need to cut and run. You could even help offset the blue wave here in Virginia. :thumbsup:

Also in Virginia... Two houses, workshop, tractor shed and 120 acres - all under the country farm exemption program - taxes about $2,000 a year. And I too live in God's Country - Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. I'd like to have more folks with more land - and tractors - here. These apartment buildings are spreading like an invasive plant.
