Hey all I haven't posted in awhile...
My dealer is long gone..
I'm going to need tie rods and knuckle plates for my 4720 who would be a good dealer to have this stuff in stock at a decent price?
Along with fast shipping?
I think my tractor is a 2005 gets very little use only has about 400 hours on it.
I did buy it new and noticed an issue with the tie rods and never addressed it...
Thanks, Gene

Well, $550 for top plates & tie rods!
I should have just drilled my plates and used hi-end off-road heim joints!
Sucks to be me, but other than this, this 4720 has been good to me..15 years.
Thanks who ever took the time to read..

Not too bad for 15 years of service. Sorry about your dealer. There is several good dealers that frequent this site and provide very helpful insight.

Glad you got it going again and here's to another 15 years of trouble free service! :drink:

Somehow I missed this thread. I couldn't help with dealers anyway but can we know what broke? Or what happened?

Nothing broke yet... tie rods have been bad for a long time...I have tightened them a few times.
I should have addressed the issue years ago.
At 15 years old it only has 402 hours on it.
New parts are on the way...along with new frt tires...dry rotted..

Tractor tires are **** expensive. Is there anything we should put on the tires to extend their life?

Keeping them covered when not in use will extend their life more than anything.

Reminds me that I really need to grease mine!!!

Hope you can find a dealer, it's always a challenge finding a source for parts.

North Ga. Equipment (Jeff) took good care of me!
I called them on Thursday parts were drop shipped from Branson on Monday! That is front roll service!
Over the weekend I changed oil..greased it all up!
How about this....15 years old..402 hours on it, yet it's had 15 oil changes lol
So I have my parts along with new frt tires also.
I'll have it up to par by the weekend.
Thanks guys!
