This is how misinformation gets spread...to the best of my knowledge NOBODY said any links posted in this thread were malicious...what was said was that there are some bogus maps out there and to be careful ...

Thankfully some of the members here who scoffed at how serious this could be are dong more thinking about it.
I am not quite a hermit but close. Closest neighbor 3/4 miles away and only 2 homes on my 2.5 mile access road. So the isolation will help avoid too much contact. We can get by very comfortably with one trip to town (4000 pop.) every second week for fresh milk, fruit, produce etc. We could would be comfortable with one trip a month if need be. Prepper mind set but not overboard like some fanatics.
Will miss church the most but God is everywhere. Learned this morning the Men's Conference for the weekend has been postponed. Just a couple of days ago they put our a guilt trip email that really pissed me off...quoting the bible and all about not being afraid and our "duty". Lost a lot or respect for the leadership...they stood to lose about $40k if they had done the right thing. Last night the Governor gave them the out they needed.
My gut tells me this will peak in the US in about two months. We have enough stuff to last 3 months.
Read somewhere there is a fine line between panic and precautions. Seeing reports of people buying a years worth of TP...just idiots. The kind that have 3-4 days of food on hand I am betting.

New York gov asks that the testing be turned over to the state testing labs. He has a point as the CDC is overwhelmed.

Sigh.... testing should be local, if you have the tests. The country that built Amazon cannot deliver test kits. What the heck.
