They’re not very good at 3 point pto work but the option does exist. Plus a mini and a skid steer doesn’t have a pto either.

yes, perhaps some of them do, none that I have seen. either way, I don't believe it would be the best fit for this Homesteader's first piece of equipment. Thanks for watching, appreciate it.

The Kubota mini TLBs that Fred listed do. They offer a stronger loader vs a tractor and a better backhoe vs a tractor ( which significantly shortens the gap between a backhoe and a minix ). The Kubota TLBs are geared slow, non removable loader, and not a very efficient hydraulic pto, heavy, and only come with r4s, so they’re not the best tool for field work.

Another consideration;tracked machines are "slow to move" and very expensive to repair.Tractor wins hands down for the average user.

Not when the wheeled tractor is bogged down in the mud, and the tracked machine keeps on working.

The tracked machines are the king in soft conditions and great for grading but the maintenance cost is high, the maximum travel speed is low, and the ground destruction is high. They’re not a good choice for a general maintenance machine IMO.
