I’ve got farm tractors with mixed fastener sizes, metric and inch. I’d go nuts having to remove a large assembly having to use 2 different socket wrenches for metric and inch.

there was a british car that came with different sized wheelnuts for front and rear then just to complicate it further left and right hand threads on opposing sides
