I知 looking at possibly upgrading to one of these tractors. One measurement I知 trying to get is the height from the ground to the bottom of the backhoe bucket. I致e called a few local dealers and they were checking for me but I have not gotten a response yet. I thought I壇 check here. My reasoning is I知 wondering if either of these will be high enough to go over the front side of my dump trailer I currently use to move my current TLB. I only have the need to trailer maybe half dozen times a year short distances (less than 10 miles)and I don稚 want to have to get another trailer just for that if I decide to step up to one of these machines. Is anyone willing to measure that for me if they own one of these machines? Thanks.

I am not certain that I fully understand your question.

I have an L48 TLB, but would not transport it in a dump trailer, even for short distances.
I do not think it realistic to transport either an M47 or M62 in a dump trailer either.

Bottom of the backhoe bucket ....when?
Boom full up, and dipperstick folded tight?
Perhaps the OP is concerned about the bucket height, as it may rest on the trailer tongue, but he does not say.
Your raising the dipperstick to go over the side would be quite obvious, if the BH bucket does fit inside the trailer.
I am (only) guessing that the hoe bucket will not fit inside the trailer.
Thus my...... I do not fully understand question comment.

Yes, I think he has a short trailer and wants to hang to buckets over the ends of the trailer.......

I have a MF 1635 TLB currently and a 7x14 14,000lb dump trailer with diesel truck to pull it. I can put 10500lb in the dump trailer. My MF will load in backwards and once in I swing the hoe 90 degrees to the tractor and it just fits in the 7ft wide trailer. Then the loader just fits in gates closed. I doubt either one of these will do that. So I’m wondering if the hoe will fit over the front wall backing in and hang over the front to fit in the trailer. My MF is about 6-8 inches to short to hang over. Like I said I don’t do this for a business nor every day. But for me I want to be able to move it if I need to so I’m looking for my options. I’ve looked at 16 ft dump trailers but if I buy a new TLB I won’t have funds for a trailer as well. And I don’t have the use of another flat bed 20ft trailer to sit around.
