What dumb thing did you do today?

I called urgent care and asked for advice. they said if it hurts come in, ther'es no one there and htey could see me right away. i went there and there was a 2-3 hour wait. So I left. i got a sewing needle and put it in alcohol for a few min, then got it red hot under a lighter, then back in alcohol. Gentlely pushed it under the nail and pulled it out, and blood came shooting out. the relief was instant, i wish i'd done it sooner. Now I know! a couple shots of vodka took the edge off as well.

The nail was completely filled with blood but it remained sealed in the front. so it was easy to put the needle in and hit the area to relieve the pressure.

Thanks for the help, it feel's so much better.
Glad you got it worked out.

Is you wife actually passing the stones?
They are incredibly painful...I know.
Don't be afraid to take her to the ER any time of day or night.
Where is the nearest hospital? Belfast? Camden? Augusta?
Don't waste ANY time if she asks you for help!

Yeah the last time she had Kidney Stones she was 40 weeks along with a baby. They did not know what to do...send her to the ER for the stones, or send her to the Maternity Ward for the baby? They said they had never had that before...in labor AND Kidney Stones.

In the end they forced her to deliver the baby two weeks early, THEN blasted out the stones. The poor thing was in a lot of pain!

I thought this was a thread on what is the dumbest thing you have done with your tractor - now if it expands to what is the dumbest thing you have done relating to your wife this thread will be the largest ever! :D

I knew it was coming and still yelled “Oh $#*t!“

Glad you posted this. It takes a big man to admit their mistakes. A bigger one to post the video!

I was surprised hoses and connections stayed together. Why wouldn’t they just pull out? For going bad, it went well. No busted hoses or connectors and oil running all over. Win!

You probably don’t have to start tractor to unbind the top link. Hydraulics will find equilibrium if you retract it or in float (if available). Then again, I’m compulsive reducing number of starts....

I guess you couldn't hear me screaming at ya to disconnect those hoses, what with the tractor running and all.. :)

I have fun with my channel on YouTube. And I have no shame so admitting mistakes is amusing to me.

That top link has a locking valve so it will not move without hydro pressure. That’s the reason I fired up the tractor.

Hoses tested tough to at least 1000 pound drag torque. Heh!

Yep, I am surprised they didn't rip.

As a little side note, If the tractor had been a Kubota the style of quick connect on the tractor, if you pull on the hoses they will automatically disconnect.
