Very nice SR
Thanks Jim, I only do dozer jobs close to home, so that's how I pull it to what few jobs I take.

Today, I was staging my firewood trailers,

getting ready to cut the logs to length over another trailer, for splitting.

If the weather permits, that will be tomorrows job.

You sure are keeping busy. I have a few knee problems keeping me from doing what I need to get done. Hopefully that will be fixed once this **** virus stuff goes away. I always wanted a dozer just to play with but decided it would sit idle way too much.

Has anyone had the enjoyment of getting up on boards before? Or used a block style face?

Yeaaa, the virus really sucks!! It's keeping me from my "almost weekly" trek to my fav restaurant! lol

A friend wanted a really nice oak log that I have, He said "what do you want in trade for it?" I told him to come help me cut the logs I have loaded and he can have it... Looks like that will happen tomorrow!

I haven't, not sure I want to, about 24"-ish is big enough for me. Looks like you need a bar stretcher.

That’s a 32” bar no need for a longer bar unless it’s super steep ground or you don’t want to put windows in to finish it off. The face vs a conventional or a humboldt allows the hinge wood to bend vs break off allowing both the butt and top to hit at the same time.WP_000147.jpg
That’s a 60” for special stuff like that log was a sailing mast.
