Maybe make the holes deeper, past that hardpan, post hole digger or auger or something.. just a thought..

I went two widths of my 16" bucket, 2 feet deep and 5 feet long. They're pretty good sized holes but eventually the trees will outgrow them. That should take a while though, if they last 20 years I will be happy.
I don't like using the backhoe for planting trees as you end up with rounded holes; but I did my best to square the bottoms with a pickaxe and shovel.

There was a monkey in the wrench at TBN I was having the same problem along with other problems, it took a while but the monkey is now gone, but to verify someone needs to look in the mirror................

I don't use Tapatalk. They are one of the worst pirates of personal information out there. I'm on a couple of forums where the owner has been asked why he doesn't run a Tapatalk-based forum: They say they won't use it because they consider it a security risk and an invasion of privacy. I don;t know enough about how these things work to judge this for myself, but I trust that they know what they re talking about.

Getting closer on the Green Goblin Garage.. just need to install the window, build and hang the doors and add the battens.
And yes, all that wood is from trees here on the property that I cut and milled..

That first monkey is smiling cause he knows he never get hit from 10' away, the rest look like they have a attitude problem especially the last one, probably he gets hit with bird shot all the time, but is a nice target rack though!!!!!!!!!

I think you have some color clashing going on here, buying or making doors?. I wonder where you got the trees and who milled them...............

If not using TBN I use imgur. I gave up on photo bucket while back and went to imgur, have fairly good luck so far with it and fairly easy to understand with different picture size options.

Yep, I put the faces on them showing the degree of terror that they will get hit. I was just thinking the other day they need a new paintjob I'll have to take a pic first.
