US Equivelant Models

Does someone have the list of Gray market to US Market compatible models? Someone mentioned the YM336D is similar to a YM3110, but other than that, I can't remember. Thanks.

I use to have a list of the equivalent models at one time that I found in a different thread, but can't seem to find it right now, however I do believe the YM336d is the equivalent to the grey market YM3110d. I will post once I find it unless someone else beats me to it.

Over on the Yanmar Tractor Owners Group, they have the list on GroupsIO. It gets updated with further info as time permits. Current revision is A0-0.19. An update is in the works with a merge of Scott Dive's data to the database. The list is all Yanmar's; US domestic, EU domestic, Gray Market, John Deere's by Yanmar, Cub Cadet by Yanmar, and other Yanmar machines.

The YTOG has been reclaiming lost information and storing it on the GroupsIO Wiki RESOURCE pages. It's almost 1Gb of data thus far.

I do know the YM2500 equals a John Deere 850. And the YM2610 is based on the YM2500, with additional PowerShift and multi-speed PTO.

I am still looking, but it appears as thought the YM276D is most like a YM2310D, not a YM2210D. That is because of the following things:

The YM276 has the Yanmar 3T84HA diesel 3-cylinder engine, is rated at 27 HP with 23 HP at the PTO and weighs between 2028 and 2146 Pounds.
The YM2310 has the Yanmar 3T84H diesel 3-cylinder engine, is rated at 27 HP with 23 HP at the PTO and weighs 2130 Pounds.
The YM2210D has the Yanmar 2T90 diesel 2-cylinder engine, is rated at 21.7 HP at the PTO and weighs 2205 Pounds.

Personally, I would avoid this YM2210 series as the engine is a real ODDBALL. Sure, you can get pistons and rings as the 3T90 is used in the JD950 and the YM4300. Other than that, you'll pull out your hair looking at what other 2-clys in the YM series have cross referenced parts!

The 3T84 tends to be the most widely used engine.

Are you thinking of the 2200/2700 series? Those were the odd ones, exhaust coming up through the hood. 2210 engine seems to just a freshened YM2000 engine, just rated a little more HP at higher rpm. Maybe a different injection timing or something for the HP increase. Mostly interchangeable parts.

Some math:
20 hp x 2600 rpm / 2400 rpm = 21.66666 (YM2210 hp. Same torque but at higher rpm. Torque x rpm = hp)

My opinion - YM2210 is a near identical engine to YM2000 (many parts interchangeable) but rated at higher rpm.
Maybe Yanmar felt that design could be pushed more and still be as reliable.

My bad. It's the YM2002 with the 3T80U engine. errr :duh:
