Tractors and wood! Show your pics

They are already here, believe me. Last week it came off humid for a few hours after we got that little bit of rain... my truck filled up with the bloodthirsty little buzzards and it took 2 days to clean it out. I try to avoid working next to swampy areas this time of year, they'll carry you off.

They wasn't around here couple days ago, they only come around on days like this.

Must of been a fun balancing act on them narrow forks I have mind at 5' and that can be tricky at times. And what you going to do with oak log besides going from point A to point B?

Loads of fun, especially weaving through the 10' wide path from lawn to where these trees were. The articulating loader helps alot for that, but increases the pucker factor when you get to full hinge lock with a real heavy load out front, likes to pull the rear wheel off the ground.
A buddy of mine is thinking of adding onto his post & beam barn, these may become floor beams.

That's where a grapple comes in handy!!

Now let me see you scoop up a bucket of dirt with that......................... I always thought the best combo was just a thumb on the bucket but then I dont know if a bucket can be used to dig up dirt with thumb on, so if I put a thumb how hard would that be to take off and put back on. One thing I do know is that I need a bucket on a tractor cause I'm always using it to move dirt. Hi my name is repeat, I need a bucket on a tractor.............

I always thought the best combo was just a thumb on the bucket but then I dont know if a bucket can be used to dig up dirt with thumb on, so if I put a thumb how hard would that be to take off and put back on. That's why you find somebody who knows how to weld, and put a quick attach on your loader. It's a matter of minutes to switch back and forth. I generally bring out a few hitches until the landing gets full; switch to the forks (or the grapple) and process the wood, put the bucket back on and repeat.

And it takes all of about 2 minutes to change over to the bucket, or forks... If I need to pick up dirt or skids..

It is odd looking, but I wish I had one!! How much weight can it pick up?

Yep, quick attach on the loader is great!! I definitely change front implements more than the rear ones!
