All due respect, but there is no way that this statement of yours can be true. Just because you don't receive cash payments directly from Washington doesn't mean you don't enjoy a whole slew of tax advantages due to your farming status. I sincerely appreciate farmers every time my kids eat some fresh produce or grains, but I also think it's good to be honest about the financial situation we've crafted in this country with the insanely twisted farm bill and many more programs.

Little off topic here, but the only thing in the “slew” of tax advantages Im aware of is no PA sales tax on farm machinery. Other than that, I receive nothing on farming crops from Gov’t.

I file a schedule F with my Federal taxes. I am eligible to claim deductions that non filers can't. That alone is a government cash subsidy.

Me too, but setting up cameras to watch us 24/7 without knowing is another level of privacy invasion

Here in Canada Ive heard that you must post signs notifying people of active surveillance cameras. If you catch someone in the act breaking in with a hidden camera and no warnings the footage isnt admissible as evidence.

Personally I think the cameras should have identification on them and a number to call or website. If I found a mystery camera with no I.D. Id be yanking the batteries, SIM and SD cards and keeping the camera as a new toy...if its on my property without permission or I.D. then obviously its mine. If there was a Gov I.D. tag Id leave it alone.

Try not paying your taxes and see how much land is really yours.

My best bet is that we are marching down the road toward Socialism.

Same thing happened to a guy that found a police installed tracker on his vehicle. He removed it and got charged!

Marching down? Like it or not we are already there. Did you ever hear the quip "In Canada one third of the population works for the government in some way...i.e. teachers, medical, police, emergency, govt employees etc. One third of the population is on some form of social assistance i.e. welfare, unemployment, old age pension. That means the remaining one third is supporting the other two thirds."

Interesting...very interesting.
Getting so if you don't own the land anymore in a way you just rent it by paying taxes unforeseen laws bills do's and don'ts of your state city town.

This is all very disturbing but it is consistent with the government position that all the wildlife, water and air belongs to the government.

Something is not right here; The Open Fields doctrine, as I recall, applied to what you could observe from outside the property or within the public air space. These guys had to trespass in order to install these cameras. If trespassing does not apply to game wardens who are not at the moment observing a violation, then I am not aware of such a ruling. There is something called "trespass of necessity", which will allow law enforcement to enter public property to apprehend a fleeing suspect, or for fire fighters to gain access to a fire, but I don't see this being applicable here. And you can't remove a tracking device from your vehicle? Even if they had a warrant, it sounds pretty iffy to me.

Yea, I would need to see more evidence than just hear say

It's never been a secret that government wins ALWAYS, and does whatever they want ALWAYS.

You don't own it, but get to cut the grass. lol Oh, and get fined by the City, if you don't.

I am having a really hard time, trying to figure out what is going on? What the possible motives might be, because much of it mkes little sense to some grand plan of control. Defunding police for one.

I don't think Criminal mischief(cutting of branches or destruction of other personal property) falls under this, no way!.. Tennessee needs to be fixed, big time!..

I've always heard don't "poach" and don't piss off the game warden because they don't have to have a search warrant.

BINGO.

What people tend to forget about in the story is that the guys son was busted for hunting illegally. There probably more is to the story about the family in general that the wildlife department has them on their radar.

Not saying what was done is right or wrong, just the fact that in reality, although the land may be in your name, as noted, see what happens when you don't pay taxes on it.

From my own personal experiences, wilelife officers are by the book, but they went into that profession because they really do care. Although you may get some Barney Fifes who like to abuse power with the position of law enforcement, generally speaking, wildlife guys have never struck me as pricks as long as your following the legal guidelines of hunting for the state your huning in.
