They are there for 14 days and are tested on the 3rd and 12th day. Anyone testing positive is taken to another hotel fitted out to cope with patients with infectious diseases. It's a hotel in the city! ! ! Our Locations | Jet Park Hotels | New Zealand Accommodation Hardly a death camp. After negative test they are allowed out in the community. Refusing to take a test and you are held for a further 14 days before being released.

I take it you don't have a back ground in public health or concerns about those who are watching their businesses and jobs in shambles. This Pandemic is changing the lives of many especially outside the USA.

I feel as deeply for those losing their businesses and jobs due to the pandemic as I did in the past as millions lost their jobs and businesses (I am one) when Walmart, Home Depot and other megastores closed down every hardware store, dime store, lumber yard, neighborhood grocery and thousands of other businesses. Only the weak and already mentally impaired committed suicide instead of looking for other jobs or businesses to go into. Sears, K-mart, Western Auto and thousands of other businesses were already on the skids long before the virus came around.

The virus brought millions of new jobs and businesses to go into, ones that could not be opened due to workers preferring to sit home with huge unemployment checks instead of working while Amazon was trying to hire 500,000 new workers, UPS, USPS, Fed Ex, and thousands of restaurants were trying to hire delivery personnel. New jobs making masks and hand sanitizers among other things.

Sure I feel sorry for those who lost their jobs but I don't feel sorry for those who never even tried to look for new ones.
