I got a really dirty look last summer from an otherwise good customer, for my, possibly you could call it hillbilly attire. Desert Cammo shorts, and work boots. Maybe not the right look for a medical facility. I guess it didn't hel[p that there was a NEW BOSS, and my contact was trying to make a good impression. I didn't get THAT memo.

CDC doesn't want information gathered (and hence released) about mask wearing areas vs areas where COVID is spreading. WE ARE BEING PLAYED! Only a fool (or stupid person) wouldn't see it for what it is.

Biden apparently says, he will insist on the wearing of masks in public WHEN ALONE! Almost like it's designed to SHAME or PUNISH us.

I got a call to come into a job interview, kinda out of the blue. I'd just returned from a job that had me out in the sticks for many months, flew into Seattle, got the call and they wanted me to come right in. I asked if it was ok if i stopped by my house, took a shower and dressed little more appropriately. Big negatory on that, show up right now. Got picked up at the airport and driven directly to the hiring authority. I was very surprised to be interviewed by a pleasant looking young women, just a little older than myself. It seemed to go well, and to be honest i think she kinda liked the "rough" look. I got the job.....

One time I was out in my yard digging a hole. It was hot and I was in overalls and filthy. Work called with an emergency and I dropped my shovel and drove right in on my day off to resolve it. I'm in the Ad Services Department working on their UNIX system and typesetters and this same boss walks by and gives me a dirty look. I resolve the problem, they make deadline, and I go home. The next business day for me, he calls me in his office and tells me if he ever sees me in the building looking like a ditch digger, he's gonna fire me.... :laughing:

So I explain to him that I was, in fact, digging a ditch and figured he'd want me to come in ASAP to resolve the problem VS stopping to take a shower and change my clothes. Is it OK if I'm late next time? Then he starts trying to tell me that I shouldn't be digging ditches on my day off if I'm on call and might have to come in, bla bla bla....

It's that kind of stuff that makes you want to punch someone in the face, quit, walk out, etc...

Of the 16, yes 16 actual bosses I had at my tenure at Windstream, I had a couple like that. Fortunately most of them were fine and some were exceptionally good.

Today I heard one state is suggesting it will be mandatory to get vaccinated once a vaccine is “approved”. I wonder how that will be enforced. I certainly will not comply. So far the “science and data” shows me the experts do not know what they are doing.

I'm getting so annoyed, that if I could wear a mask, that looked like a mask, but did NOTHING, and certainly didn't hinder my comfort, or restrict my breathing one bit, that might be a mask a would wear, with a big smile under it.

Maybe the reasone for the popularity, I have noticed for BS cloth masks.

I wear a mask I made from mosquito netting. The only thing it protects me from is mosquitoes. You can see through it, and it is very easy to breathe through. I think others look at me with envy.
