Just blew another wad on another new drone, this time a waterproof one.

10-4 and it operates in the water (though slowly as well)....and it's capable of 'seeing' underwater, the camera is sealed in a glass housing. It's a SwellPro. They ain't cheap. Not Autel expensive but not toy drone cheap either. Just south of a grand delivered.

Autel just released their EVOII Dual (regular and thermal imaging drone) and it's pushing 10 grand.

Problem with most drones is, you cannot fly them in the rain or snow. The motors won't take moisture and the intel isn't sealed. The Swell Pro is all sealed against moisture as are the motors. Even the controller is sealed IP65 and unlike most drones the RTH feature is return to the controller not a landing pad so it's built for boating where 'home' can move around. Only detraction is the flight time. Because it's heavy, flight time is limited to about 15 minutes per battery pack.... and of course you need the FAA drone pilots license to operate it. Bunch of You Tube vids out on it.

Leave it to the Chinese....lol

Come with a bait drop option so you can fish with it too.

Well, the 40v chainsaw I raved about in another thread failed after its fourth charge. Looks like $165 wasted.

I will stop in and see if they will do anything for me. If not, I am sold on the usefulness of a battery operated saw, and will buy a better quality unit.

Honestly, IMHO the more you pay for something at HF, the less value it seems to have.

Yep, I baby my Mavic 2 Pro.

Not a DJI fan because of the mandatory built into the brain box Geofencing. I much prefer it being voluntary. We have enough imposed rules today, don't need more. Having said that I do have one DJI collaborated product, I have a Tello pocket drone but the drone was manufactured by Ryze, not DJI and Ryze uses DJI's software minus the geofencing.

Don't want to be getting your Mavic wet, especially the motors. They are not moisture proof.

I bought the 40V 16" bar Greenworks saw from Lowes.
So far....I love it!

Take it back. I'm sure HF will refund your money because it's their 'high end' saw. Myself, I will always use a gas powered saw. I have zero use or faith in a battery powered saw.

So far....I love it!

Until it pukes that is.....lol Again, there isn't enough 'feel good' with battery powered tools except hand tools like drills and grinders to sway me to buying them ever. Greenworks is just as much Chineseum as HF is. Just different colored plastic. The works are basically identical.

Not sure if I agree with that assumption. The Icon stuff is very high quality whereas the Chicago stuff is low, one shot quality. Not just externally but internally, the Icon is the mirror image of the uber priced Snap-On.
