Hi All,

I am contemplating purchasing a front mounted hydraulic snowblower for my TYM T330.

Price is $500. 6ft blower. Seems very reasonable for a hydraulic snowblower.

Question is, do I need a separate resevoir tank for this. Guy selling it says I should be able to just hook it up to my quick connect lines on the front.

I am also concerned about the GPM needed to run it. Seller does not have that info. I am thinking I might be a bit low on that end.

For $500 I am willing to give it a shot, if it doesnt work out I am sure I could clean it up and sell it for more than I paid.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Actually the more I think about this, I do not have a separate quick connect for 3rd function. Only other option would be to run a line from the Power beyond / Remotes port in the back I think, or install a diverter for the 3rd function on the front.

Thanks for any help you can give. Just trying to wrap my head around this.

Your attachments did not come through. My dealer ran a line from my rear remote to the front for my snow blade. I think the gpm requirements are higher for a snow blower.

Not sure why photos aren't working.

Yea I don't think 10gpm is going to run a 6ft snowblower very well. I think I will pass on it.

Thanks! Screenshot_20200916-184748.jpgScreenshot_20200916-184740.jpg

Tractor hydraulics are normally the high PSI, low volume type. The pump on the blower should be low psi and high volume.

Thanks, so safe to say even though the snowblower has its own pump it looks like, that my 10gpm hydraulics would not be able to run this?

You need to look at what the blower motor needs and match that to a PTO pump. Most pto pumps are high pressure, low volume type. If the manufacturer of the pump or the blower are still around, you might be able to get the necessary info from them.

Unfortunately no info on the blower. Seller doesn't have any info either.
