This is what you need Rick. I just filled mine for pennies, pint bottles and a hypo. View attachment 670756

Ooohhh, you just brought back bad memories for me..... I used that setup once.... I was filling the black Cartridge and must have put too much ink or too much pressure on it.... POP! I looked like a darn Dalmatian for a week.... no matter what I tried, couldn't get the spots off! I will NEVER fill my own ever again! I really wish I took pictures.... I can laugh about it now.

I wouldn't average oil filter prices either. But I'm talking about food in a dish. Ten foods all same quantity would cost different amounts. So you have a full bowl of mashed potatoes but 3/4 full bowl cauliflower. The owner took my advice, he makes the same profit...just different size servings.
And then what does he do when customers start complaining about some servings are too small? Can't win. To me, it seems ridiculous to fuss about 20 cents when you are the one sitting proudly being served. Just my :2cents:
Which also happens to be your increased tip if you pony up that extra 20 cents if you are cheap. :confused3:

How does his pricing put you out? He has to manage it and total it. Not you.

If you cannot grasp that different foods cost different amounts to buy and prepare, do not go into the restaurant business.

I致e owned restaurants, as a side business. Food cost has little do do with the menu price. Try to keep it under 30%. Good luck!

Oh and btw, you don稚 own a restaurant, it owns you!

Many restaurant owners I know are hard hard workers, but not rocket scientists. I was both in the rocket science business and owned restaurants. I did ok with one restaurant but failed miserably with the other 2.

If the owners would tell you the truth most will say they own a 60 hour a week job and they barely get by, and work their *** off.

You guys think what you do is tuff? Not even close!

Interesting. We broke with tradition and ordered generic cartridges with excellent reviews. But thanks.

We did that about a year ago for the first time, and they work just as good as the brand name.

We purchased the same $ amount and ended up with about 5 times as many cartridges with the generic brand.

Oh...me too! I've made a real mess. Now I use a small 1/2ml needle, one squirt. One for each color, wash needle with rubbing alcohol. The Canon cartridges have a small hole under label.

I am hoping for a similar outcome. We opted for a single set to start as we do not print a high volume of pages and I want (relatively) fresh consumables. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Easily the dumbest thing I have read so far today. But it is only 11:30.
And yes, I know there is more to running a restaurant than buying food.

Keep reading, it’s early.
