My 4 year old black mouth cur found another one and got the full blast... again. This is either the 4th or 5th time. You'd think he'd learn at some point. I guess the tenacity of the BMC is what makes them so good for hunting hogs, coons and squirrels. I wish their breeding gave them a natural avoidance of skunks.
I'm dreading the day he finds a porcupine.
We keep the house well stocked with dawn dish detergent, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. For those that haven't tried it here's the recipe. We do a lather, sit for 10- 15 minutes, rinse and repeat
1 qt hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 teaspoon of Dawn
