Welcome to TBN, Fiddlearound. We voted in Cedar Creek yesterday. No real wait. Hardest for me was the new electronic equipment. Had to get the driver's license read and scribbled my signature on the pad like they have at stores. Then the vote box had an electronic machine that you used the stylis (sp) to select vote, then the ballot was printed on paper and that was turned in at the old metal box.
It all seemed expensive and redundant. Is the ballot counted manually or is it recorded electronically? Just liked the old paper ballot that you blacked out the box for the candidate.
Our voting machines have a dial you turn to select the candidates, changes the background color of each candidate's name. Then you push the enter button. When finished, we hit the submit vote button and we have voted. I never see any printouts.
