How long will my new sign last?

That contaminated area sign I posted a picture of is located in the old Kingsbury ordinance plant grounds. They used those areas for ordinance disposal and testing back in WWII and the Korean War.

I would have mounted it to a 1/2" steel plate, welded the bolts on the other side, welded the plate to a post concreted into the ground, if I thought someone was going to steal it.

That reminds me of the guy that taped razor blades to the bottom of his sign to deter theft. The city sent a man out to remove it because it was to close to the road. He needed 13 stitches.
