Just don't turn right on red! They will pull you over for that.

Nicely done! I like it!

I redline cars, work documents and the occasional obnoxious TBN post! :cool2: Of course, to pull me they have to catch me first!

Here's the current hotrod in my garage. I built it from a small piece of the frame of an original car over the last 6 years. Apparently there is a pretty serious buyer looking at it, so I may part ways with it, depending on the offer. Guess I'll just need to hotrod my tractor while I build my next car!

Hey, at least he didn't pimp his wife in this video.

Oh man, I'm not a huge fan of that guy and his channel (maybe just envy that he gets an entire stable of equipment for free.....) but he does make this trailer look SLICK. He has yet another vid to review hooking up the trailer to his RK37; says it comes with the hydraulic hose.

Do want.

At least he puts the trailer through it's paces and shows it working. You get an idea of how fast and how much effort is needed to manually dump the trailer. One thing I wonder about....once you use the tractor's hydraulics to dump, what do you do to lower the dump?

Just move your remote valve back to open and the hydraulic fluid comes back into the tractor. Gravity weight of the trailer bed brings it down. Looks pretty quick off the tractor hydraulics, both ways. And even not so bad with manual pumping, to be honest.

Thanks. It is a fun but expensive hobby just like tractors! You can get in for a little money but the more fun you want to have the more money it costs. ha!

So here is my dilemma ... I really have to move several hundred yards of dirt about 1/8 mile and spread it out on an island I get to with a causeway. Essentially 50-60 triaxle dump trunk loads. It would take far too long to one bucket at a time and the cost to hire a loader and dump truck would easily eclipse the 4500 for a dump trailer I can get a decent sized dump trailer for. This looks great but at almost 3K, I think I could be better off with one that is also capable of being pulled on the highway.

Heavy Duty Dump Trailer 6' x 1' With 35lb Axles - SLE Equipment

I would think the resale value of the on road trailers would be better but don't really know.

For the project you described, approximately 1,000 cu yd of material, a dump trailer is most certainly NOT what you need. You need a scraper. But then your tractor description of "new" doesn't help me figure out what size scraper you can handle?

I purchased a 5 1/2 yard scraper a few years ago for $4,700. I've repaired a pond dam. Elevated another pond dam 6ft. Elevated a pad to build our house and shop. Great tool.
