Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Pictures of your snow weapons

Added some flashing LED's to my snow weapon today.

Last year I started plowing out my son who is on a main-ish road and felt a little exposed with just the emergency flashers so I've been wanting one of those. Looked good - so I ordered one. Thanks for posting.

Nice install. I've wanted something similar, but I have less than 1" clearance on the roof to get my tractor in the garage.
I have a magnetic xenon strobe that I slap on the rear implement that fires once per second. The rate is slow, but it is surprisingly noticable!

I like these bright little things. One each on the front, rear and sides. When I drive into town for plowing, the ones mounted on the sides light up the fronts of the houses I pass by. They have a common wire to change the flash patterns and are set up with matching patterns on the front and sides but a different one on the rear just to make it more noticeable. Since they're out of phase and on the same button, hitting the button to change patterns always keeps the rear in a different mode from the other three.

People that mount several lights on their tractors or trucks need to get out in the dark and see just how bright they are.
Some lighting is to bright for safety they are actually blinding people coming towards them.

Can't say I've seen that with amber warning lights...but I'm really hating LED headlights on many vehicles

When i drive to neighbors to move snow, i shut off upper cab lights if theres an oncoming vehicle . Dang those led cab lights are bright and obnoxious

Same. I have the 52" LED bars aimed down pretty low, but still turn them off for oncoming traffic when I'm roading. Not like you need to aim them that high as you can't cover much ground at under 15mph, usually 5mph or so.

Cops are the worst offenders on that. So many strobes you can't see anything. Causes a lot of accidents.

When I was working, doing police car installs, the light bars had a low power switch. Seems some of the strobe patterns could trigger epileptic siezures in people so afflicted. They were mandated to use low power at night at stops or accident scenes.

Man if that's low power they're using here by me, I'd hate to see them on high. Police have added blue to their usual red and its awful to drive by.

I suppose different jurisdictions have different rules They are extremely bright. Many types of led units are options in the light bars

Some new standards hurt the intended safety of First Responders. There are new reflective standards for road signs. All signs are being replaced with new, more reflective signs. These signs, especially the large Exit signs are absolutely blinding when approaching with high beams. These standards make no sense.
