Used Kubota for the Long-term

I've been searching the forums for over a month now. I try not to start threads without searching first.

Anyway, I know little about tractors since the 8n.
I live on 4 acres, heavily wooded, semi sloped.
.
I want something easy to work on and large availability of parts.
I have decent mechanical skills.
I want the largest tractor available with a mid-mount mower. Want a FEL.

I found a thread that I thought was perfect - the title was something like "Most Popular Kubota" but it derailed into arguments over blue vs orange vs green.
But basically the OP was asking what was the most popular kubota for the reason of long term availability of parts.

For example, the 8n is heavely supported and still has a useful life for years.

Which used Kubota (s) might be comparable to the 8n popularity and long-term support?

I believe the largest tractor (Kubota) with a mid-mount mower is the Grand L6060. It also has a FEL.

For 4 Acres and woods, a widely adopted, basic, and buit for a long time is Kubota entry level L series, example a L2500 series/size - its a basic tractor but has the L Frame, decent weight and HP.

The others would be the B series B7800, B2650 B3030 etc with a MMM and FEL for your size property would be a good choice.

Why are you fixed on a MMM - why not a rear finish mower? You dont lose ground clearance and easier to R&R.

If long term parts availability is a concern (valid, I might add) then buy a model that has parts commonality with other models in the same series and vintage and is sold in great numbers over many years. Probably not going to be a Grand L.

I guess I don't need a mmm, a rear driven would be fine.
I was just thinking for maneuverability.

So yes, let's forget the mmm. That's not needed.

Drop the mmm and switch from a Grand L to an economy L and you can probably budget a zero turn. Landpride makes fabulous RFM's if that fits your needs.
You have 4 mostly wooded acres. I don't see the need for a lot of tractor.

I think you would be safe with any 30-45 Kubota from 2005 on. If you have 4 acres that is heavily wooded, how much mowing is there to do? What other tasks do you have to do? What other implements might you use?

I basically want something comparable to an 8n but with a loader - but not an 8n with a loader.
Something similar in size and capability but newer but used but easy to work on and easy to find parts for and under $12,000. Something that's going to last me til I die.

The L2500 looks good size and price wise. But it looks to have only been built for 2 years.
