I don't like MMM after owning one for 18+ years.

My next machine will have a RFM likely by Kingkutter, and I won't skimp on HP.

Nothing wrong with a mid-mount mower on a Kubota tractor, and for just 4-5 acres, I recommend the Kubota L3301 with both FEL and MMM. It should be good for land management, all the way up to 25 acre, just in case you want to expand someday. The L3301 can be found in quality used condition, if you look hard for them. And a good alternative recommendation, is the CK2610se and JD2025 R.

I agree. Just how much of this 4 acres needs mowing? Could it be only 1 acre for mowing.

Mostly field mowing.
For what little finish mowing I have I'll just use my riding mower.

Then back to my original answer - Any Kubota 30-45hp from 2005 on. It will take patience and a lot of searching to find a good used one with a loader for $15k.

I know you want orange, but a John Deere 3032E would be easier to find.

I'm not sold on orange. It's just that from my research I thought parts were more reasonably priced than for green.
