I just slapped a price increase on all my field mowing contracts for 2021. Good thing I didnt send contracts out before the 11/3/20. I knew to wait because the outcome would send fuel prices up 50-100%.
Customers will have to pay more, because I sure as heck aint taking a pay cut. I also think the federal fuel tax will be increased. The sad part is it hurts my poorest customers the worst. The rich privileged class wont even really care.
I cant do much about hay prices. Got too many little guys around me making hay for a hobby or beer money keeping the prices depressed.
Maybe a quick 5 year renaissance for Diesel engines before the party in charge makes em illegal and forces us into electric computer controlled trucks and tractors?
