Tesla shows an annual profit for the first time ever last year.

"Once again the company needed regulatory credits purchased by other automakers in order to make a profit. Without $1.58 billion in credits for the year, Tesla would have lost money. Other automakers buy the credits when they can't meet emissions and fuel economy standards."
So they are being helped significantly by government regulations that penalize ICE vehicle manufacturers.
Government Motors can go out of business today for all I care.

Yep, govt bought them then gave them away.
Sales in Norway 2020:
Pure EV had 54,3% market share, hybrids with charging 20,5%, pure ICE cars 23%, the rest is hybrids without charging.
In desember EV had over 60% of the marked.
