When you post a stat to apparently make a point, and then claim it's not your stat if it could be misinterpreted, that's a little chicken s to me

Personally, I wouldn't want to be a black man pulled over.

I took many stats courses in college, thank you.
I am reposting someone elses stats, so its not chicken s. to claim they could be wrong. If that were the case, there would be a heck of a lot of chicken s. on this website lol
Nobody would be able to just post stats like that without research and citing sources.

Personally, I wouldn't want to be a black man pulled over on the side of the road if I know I'm a law abiding citizen. All one has to do is look to the town of Windsor, Virginia to see why I can come to that conclusion as a white man.

Especially if there is a Warrant for your Arrest.

THAT is the part nobody seems to understand!
If you are commanded by the police to do something, JUST DO IT and if you were wrongfully arrested or detained, SUE THEM LATER, but don't resist arrest! Its just so stupid.

Wonder how many less people would die in arrest confrontations, if they just do what they are told by cops? I bet 90%.

Interesting when men with badges have a weapon on you and they give your contradicting orders on what to do at times though, isn't it?

All one has to do is look to the shooting of Daniel Shaver as to a no win situation when LEO's are giving you commands with their weapons trained on you.

If I have cops with badges pointing guns at me and telling me different things, I am putting up my hands and laying down face first. Im not going to fight them, try to run them over with a car or run away. Thats just going to get you hurt or KILLED.

It costs many lives. Just do what you are told, you can argue/sue later. resisting is so stupid. You aint gonna win

Being a LEO is a thankless job, I get it. But the reality is there are a lot of LEO's that are on a power trip.

That is so seldom. There are millions of interactions with the police eevry year. Yes, a few will go bad.

But ask yourself this question:

How many fewer deaths would there be, and less resentment of the police in the media and by many Americans, if people did not resist arrest and fight with the police, steal their weapons, try to run them over with cars, etc.
I bet it would drop 90%.

I don't disagree with you.

But the reality is the police do make mistakes, and sometimes innocent lives are lost due to those mistakes, and it seems with todays technology, we're learning more about those mistakes.

Look at the Windsor police stop on the black Lt. With their weapons on the subject, they want his hands out of the window, but then they also want him out of the car when his seat belt is on. Exactly how do you do that with your hands outside of the window (as he was following orders)?

LEO's are just like regular people. You have some good ones and you have some bad ones.

I'm not going to hit the "like" button on something like this. But thank you for pointing that out.
One thing which I've noticed is that because these are generally carried out by white males, there is no incentive to blame it on race or poverty. Simply treating somebody as if they were a person even if they think differently than the status quo would help to reduce this type of
