Amazon has semi's that drive themselves no
truck driver. Read that semi truck drivers are
going to be a thing of the past. In the bigger cities
they have vehicles no drivers to deliver product.
looks like we will have to put the big wheels on the back wheels so we will always be going down hill for better gas mileage??? Back in the 70's joke was lots of people taking their sail boats to the lake this guy
had a arab friend with him said you guys sure must
have a very bad gas shortage with all the sail boats
pushing their cars.

When my wife and I were dating, we'd go sit in a local park at night and listen to music and talk about stuff (that's my story and I'm sticking to it). On wet rainy nights, the South Shore electric train would come hauling past at 70+mph. They were NOT welded tracks, and that thing would clickety-clack down the tracks bouncing the pantograph on the overhead wire and throw these HUGE blue arc fireballs one after the other. It was quite impressive.

That train was so rough riding back then, the local nickname was The Vomit Comet.

On the live railcam (youtube) at Kearney Nebraska they used to have these crossing horns that were automatically triggered. Sometimes for no apparent reason. I heard the horn was directed at traffic and not as loud as a train horn. I noticed recently they have been removed and someone said it was some time back.
