Let me nutshell that report for you.

1: Yeah there is something there
2: No, we don't know what is is, and may be lots of different things
3: We probably need to study this further, as some of these things could be hazardous to air navigation.
4: Yeah this could be something natural, or worse yet be a breakthrough technology by our enemies..
5: Not even once did we say anything about LGM's or things not of this earth.

This is the report that was issued on Friday. It says defense and intelligence analysts lack sufficient data to determine the nature of UFOs.

we have and have had 2 governments for over a 1/2 century now.

The one that includes the president and congress. and also an ultra black unaccountable one that is above oversight and does not get replaced every few years, that has no intention of answering pesky Congressional questions posed to the Director of National Intelligence.

They have No need to be accountable to the more mundane parts of our government, that in their opinion that at present does not Have a need to know. Likely the Joint Chiefs of staff and high ups in the CIA and Office of Naval of Intelligence do have Knowledge of what the real deal is.

The last president imo that may have had inside info of what the real deal is with UAP/UFO realities was George Bush Senior, since he headed the CIA for about a year and may have had access

Senator Barry Goldwater who earlier in his life was a Major General in the Army Air Corp. once called Curtis LeMay of the joint chiefs of staff and asked about going to the below level parts of Wright Patterson AFB and see the UFO's and got cussed out for even asking.

The report just issued has about as much info as the answer Barry got.

It's just more government psychology...They are just trying to "harden" the masses...to prevent a major shock...
...There is no way they (gov.) would just come outright and say yes, we know there are other intelligent life forms...we are not alone...
The masses have to be prepared...this latest stunt is just psychology to warm the masses (especially the religious) up to the idea...

I have had that same exact thought many time. But I don't know anything more than anyone else, and it is just idle speculation at this point.

That would be pretty interesting, but, not buying it. A conspiracy of that scale only works well on TV and movies. But then again........ I wished my google fu was better, maybe a language skill issue, but while looking for something completely unrelated, i found some interesting videos that took most of the UFO videos and demonstrated a how to, with similar equipment, used for the original videos.
