I am looking at the big tool rack and their promo material claims they've had no returns in 7 years. I figured there had to be at least one ornery person not happy with their big tool rack so I looked into their return policy.

"Returns will only be accepted within 14 days of the receipt of your product. The product must be returned unopened in the original packaging. We do not accept returns of used products."

I think I found the reason they've had no returns in 7 years. I am not trying to say the product is bad, it looks really nice and I'm strongly considering buying one. I found the return policy pretty funny though.

All that said, are you happy with yours?

I don’t understand those things. Maybe if you never do anything with your tractor but aside from a chainsaw or a chain I’m probably making the tractor earn its keep if I’m running it I don’t park it next to me while I do yard work.

I looked at them online - just for a few minutes though. There was no way that I was going to use one without bending or breaking one or more of the legs off lol. I made my own carry all with a cheap TSC 3 PT frame. I use it all the time when cutting and hauling firewood.

This guy used to come here quite a bit. Always struck me as the typical used car salesman type. Got easily offended if anyone pointed out weaknesses or design issues.

I got a 3 point carryall and a big rolling Kobalt plastic tool box, then bent up a small cage from a livestock feedlot panel. Added some PVC pipe for long handle tools.

This is my favorite one I’ve seen yet! Do you also use a quick hitch?

I admire everybody that can come up with an idea and create a market for it. I just don't get why anybody would buy it. Seems to me that if you are using it, then you are not really doing anything with your tractor. If I need a hand tool, I just carry it to where I need it and leave my tractor sitting there. Why would anybody need an entire "rack" to carry around all of your yard tools on a tractor? And if you have a tractor without a loader, why do you have the tractor in the first place? Mine has a bush hog on it and I'm not taking that off in order to carry a couple of shovels around.

Here is my Big Tool Rack. I did the ole TSC 3-point frame and rigged it myself. I leave it on most of the time with blow downs, and rock removal in full swing this season.

I only brush hog twice a year. I only landscape rake once per year. I only rototill once per year. So, even with the loader, this carries way more debris than the loader bucket, and I always know where my tools are.

Great attachment at a great price.

Said it before: No way in hell I'm paying that much for that thing.

Here's an idea for one someone posted here before. Could be improved on, but a good starting base:

He was unhappy with my feedback about his marketing. IIRC, I suggested he was targeting customers with Ken and Barbie dream-yards rather than most of us on TBN. Brand new tractor and bigrack- even the tools were brand new. And he flipped out when I told him to put some mud on it! (The truck manufacturers figured that out decades ago.)

$2000 for the ultimate pack? Holy crap!!! With less than that money I bought 3 implements for my tractor. A brand new brush mower ($770), an used good quality tiller ($950) and an used carry all box ($180).

I think I like my carry all box 10000 times better than the Big tool rack. It can dump, it does have a cutting edge so you can load it by reversing into a pile of loose material, tailgate will flip down to extend the length, flip up like a dump truck or can be simply taken off. It will easily handle enough load to max the 3 pt capacity of the tractor. I even even welded an eye on the tail gate so I can pull my log splitter with it.

These things sell new for $400. Very well made. I paid $180 for mine because the bottom corners were rotted and had to be redone. It's been fixed, just need new coat of paint. These are so handy to have.

Yep, that's what the loader is for... load up your tools and materials and head on out.

Perfect implement. You could even tilt side to side. Is that a European exclusive or are they worldwide?

This style is almost a Portuguese exclusive, but it's available on other countries, although a lot lighter duty and with different design.

It's also called a link box on other countries. If you google "link box tractor" or "tipping transport box" , you'll see something similar but most are more like a bucket shaped.

Here is a catalog if you are interested. It has English language as well. http://www.joper.com.pt/attachments/upload/Catálogos/CX_CC.pdf

No quick hitch - I just hook it up the hard way. During the fall wood cutting chores, I lower the carryall on a home made dolly that allows me to wheel it around in the polebarn. I was going to just put the swivel castors on the bottom - but I drop the carryall down in the woods quite often and didn't think they would last too long? The receiver on the bottom let's me hook up the splitter in tow and off to cutting we go. My wife likes splitting wood and she rides in the carryall. I added a tailgate that flips up for a seat or a flat surface to clean and sharpen the saws I'm using.

These carry alls are interesting but wondering if I should start a new post or just keep posting here? Got a bad back and when I go to cut firewood from full log length, I absolutely HATE bending over to cut logs then picking them up off the ground bending over yet again. So, I built a "Log Platform" (not sure if thats the right word, but its basically an 8' wide table that slips over the forks on my FEL with a wood "backing" to protect the chain from hitting the forks QA area. Table was marked for every 16" and I load up a few logs with a pik ax onto table then use the FEL to raise the table to a height where I dont have to bend over, then cut the logs at their 16" piece and leave on table, have log splittler right next to table and then just pick up the logs from table to splittler, from splitter to UTV box to transport to final log pile. Works good but problem is...its made of wood and i just broke it when my foot slipped off the clutch and rammed the table into the log pile...and another issue is that eventually you cut thru the lumber that makes up the table and weaken it. Was wondering if anyone has made similar item that might be better designed that what I threw together....it lasted me 3 years until I broke it. Is there like a strong plastic that will stand up to the chain saw better than the wood? or possibly aluminum but I had thought aluminum would probably dull the chain on the saw...any ideas/pointers etc. would be appreciated.
