Was in Vegas recently, and saw yet something else I've never before seen.

This pickup had "outriggers" on both sides-- hauling rebar on both sides. Trust me, if you were near that, you would not want to be. And bicyclist and pedestrians better watch out!

Just a bit unsecured load there! Maybe over width also!

I've seen similar but under the truck.

At least the vehicle isn't any wider...

That would be absolutely illegal over here and should be everywhere. Bloody dangerous.

every glass and granite company has outriggers on their pickups and van's like that . the problem is that there is no middle support and rebar is not tied down properly. max width is 102 " around here . Definitly under that . 🍻

If you look close there is a middle support but it is lower than the front and rear. That allows the doors to open. Not secured except for gravity.

I agree 102 is the federal law and it is under that. But the 3 required ICC lights front and rear are not there. So being over 80 inches it's not legal without them even empty.
But technically every pickup that doesn't have cab lights towing a trailer over 80 inches is not legal unless the trailer is tall enough and has them on the front.
