I grew up a country boy in the 50's, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's hard to explain unless you lived it; but we got joy from things that kids get handed to them today. I was 13 years old when I saw my first TV; was breathless when I saw my first '55 Chevy. As the man said, it was hours and hours of boredom interjected with moments of sheer terror!
