And TWO parents would be even better!
Met and coached way too many kids raised by one parent far better behaved than some kids raised by 2 parents to ever believe that.
Quantity is no substitute for quality

You can say that again. My brother doesn’t allow his kids to hang out with most of the players on their high school football team in East TX because the parents (many still married) are drunks and drug addicts living in a trash heap.

I would think about a bus shelter at the end of the drive way. Give instructions for the packages to be dropped in the shelter the porch pirates would have no reason to look there.

Then Wouldn’t your packages just be stolen from your bus shelter? o_O

If you were a thief would you stop to look inside an enclosed school bus shelter?

Thieves are about as likly to look for packages in bus shelters as delivery drivers are to put them in there,,,,,,unless the sign say's "put delivers in bu,,,,,,,,I thing you can see where this is headed.

If it was at the end of a residential driveway and had packages inside?
Yeah…prolly
You didn’t mention “enclosed” in your first mention of it, but either way, thieves will steal anything they can get their hands on

What rural home doesn’t have a “king of the place “ farm dog or two?
Our dog is a terrible watch dog. At least half the time the driveway alarm goes off and she pays it no mind. With a vehicle in the drive. But boy a passing leaf sets that thing off and she goes NUTS.

For those of you with UPS, they changed their tracking policy earlier this year to give fewer details because they discovered that thieves were tracking their trucks and stealing the delivered packages. I have a UPS account and they sent a note at the time explaining why they were reducing the tracking information. Long discussion over on Reddit.
I've been trying to process this since I saw it posted.

You have to have a tracking number to be able to see package tracking, so how would a dirtbag get that to begin with?
