We've already gotten rid of file clerks, billing clerks, and stenographers. Are you old enough to remember rooms full of 500 women running 10-key adding machines? Punching the price into cash registers? I remember the first computerized machine lathes from 40 years ago. Worker productivity has doubled and redoubled, so we're all making 10x as much as we made in 1970. Right? Right?
