And just what exactly 80% is is not an industry accepted definition.

Tesla thinks they know what rates are “safe” for Supercharging. We don’t know their definition of safe. They changed the definition for my 2013 S. It will still start at 115kW if SOC is under 40 miles. Tapers off much quicker than it used to. Charge from 40 to 140 now takes 35 minutes. Plus another 30 to get to 200. Takes twice as long as it did before they updated the firmware in my car. Haven’t used it for a long trip since 2019. Burn gasoline instead.

Charges just as fast at home as it ever did.
Just set the car to charge to 80%. It's in the software.

I don't think superchargers are available for home use.

The Lakota call it, Walking the Path...
Thanks. Wikipedia was helpful to learn more. It would be interesting to have access to North American and South American Indians knowledge of days gone by. We from Europe would have done well to have arrived with blank minds ready to learn. Quantum Mechanics indicates all things are connected. Some from the EV space leads me to understand much of what I thought I knew is questionable at best.

Paradyme shifts really can task old mindsets. Some say we're already dead when we stop learning new things and discarding false concepts from the past.

We have a lot of Chinese EV trying to sell, MG is the one I see most of, very hard to gain any market share as low price is not the most important thing, BYD will certainly be able to really gain traction but all the rest might disappeare.

Model 3 is the most sold car, no Chinese EV in the top ten and the market share of pure EV is 65% in 2021, and the rest is mostly different hybrids with charging. Pure ICE is a few % of the total.
Wow 65% for 2021!

Have used ICEV prices declined? Are they being sold to Eastern markets, etc?

Realizing reality doesn't exist whooped this plowboy hard across the ahead. Living in a version of the Matrix as leading scientists hold today as well as Elon Musk does explain the Placebo Effect that haunts todays new drug makers bottomline.

The EV Revolution doesn't compute to this old plowboy's head. I am starting to think leading scientists including Elon Musk must be onto something if we are living in The Matrix while I still see the rear end of a mule in the tobacco patch.

This is why I drilled down on Quantum Mechanics even though it was was and still is quite painful.

Musk has proven to me we each create our own virtual reality and move in and call it Reality. :)

I had to buy my own EV before the reality could sink into my head as to how and why they are taking the world by storm.
Quantum entanglement is a fascinating topic and really makes you wonder how this universe actually works, not to mention how limiting it is to try to define it in physical terms we understand today. It's no wonder we've historically attributed so much of the workings of the world to supernatural beings and what is essentially magic. I also find the human perception of 'reality' to be equally fascinating. Science has proven that what you think is reality is nothing of the sort, it's just a fabrication of your mind where the universe you think you live in is unique to you and you alone. Not that the two topics are related of course but who knows. I'm not sold on the matrix theory although it's not as wacky as it sounds, and even if it was true it would only create more questions.

Have no data but in certain areas it's probably hard to sell used ICE, Norway is very rural and in the northern parts are still ICE land, so we have internal "export". But it will probably hit the value of ICEs in the near future. And export is a solution, we have had export of used cars for years, mostly to Africa, all kinds of japanese vans and pickups has been very popular, VW T3, several French cars has been exported, it started with the Peugeot 504 decades ago. Exporters are draining the country for old tractors, trucks and agricultural equipment. And Ladas has been exported to Russia :)

What fascinates me is where and how the 4th dimension of time fits in. It certainly isn't what we perceive. Or... the wave frequency we exist in; dial it in right and there we are, like tuning to a radio station.

EVs sells them selves, when it reaches a level of sales then you friends, people you work with etc will have tried it and may be owning one and most of them will never want to own a ICE again, when that happens more people dare to try and buy, then it's starting to roll.

And they are cheaper to own and use, that is a fact that speaks for itself.

And for the European brands that really sells well is Volkswagen ID 3 and 4, it seems to continue as real Folkswagen, a position it have had since the early fifties.
