Disable tractor seat shut-off?

Yes I've done a search and seen some ideas, but would like up-to-date input....

My new tractor is wonderful, but the only big PITA is having it shut off every time I need to jump out and grab or move something.

I understand the inherent dangers of rolling over/falling out etc, but that would be unlikely on my flat acreage.

I just jumpered my riding tractor a while back with no issues, should I do the same on my new Kioti? Thoughts?

In neutral, with the pto off the seat switch kills the engine? I do not favor the idea of disabling seat presence switches. Too many of us forget that the pto is live or tractor in gear until after the accident happens. Loose fitting clothing and pto stuff is not a combo either.

Lean to put tractor in neutral and set brake..... Tractor should continue to run when you leave seat...

Here's how I deal with mine on the Massey. If I'm mowing with it, I pop off ziptie. Otherwise, I always have that pita switch disabled.

I disabled mine the day that it came home...it's pretty hard to run my logging winch while sitting on the tractor.
Apparently after 3 years the wire holding the switch open came off. I realized that after draining the tank and replacing the fuel filter, trying to figure out why it kept cutting out. Anything like sliding forward on the seat or even leaning over to check the tire chains will cause the switch to shut off... never mind standing up to see while sliding the grapple around a log.

It won't be long before the switch stops working again.

On the seat switch just unplug them from the switch and plug them into each other. The PTO has it's own safety switch and that's the only one I left operational.

Funny, I was talking to my cousin who has a 2510 (?) Kioti, and doesn't even have a seat safety.

I had to disable the seat safety switch on my MF1540. Seat was frozen and could not detect any weight in the seat, so couldn't use it to blow snow. Dealer told me how to disable it. I only hook it up if I let the neighbor use it to mow his field.
