Refs more important than the teams in that game

Born about 50 years too early to be able to enjoy that halftime show. Give me rock, blues, and even country. Hip hop or rap, nope.
Game was going well and moving along until the refs started throwing flags on stuff that had been allowed earlier in the game. Hate it when they do that, either call everything all game long or don't, starting to call stuff in the fourth quarter is asinine.

Yeah the PI non call that allowed the Bengals to score their TD should have been brought back.
The call on the goal line on the Bengals LB #55 Logan Wilson covering Kupp was nonsense and appeared to be a make up call keeping the Rams TD drive alive. Wilson had tight coverage and batted the ball down perfectly from Kupp.

Stafford and Kupp were very determined to get a score though.

Tough to see the Bengals lose like that. Although all the attention was given to Burrow, the Bengals defense was excellent and deserves a lot of recognition. Hubbard, Hendrixson and Wilson are excellent defenders. All 11 on D, actually.

Nice to see new teams in the big game. Bengals fans have a nice future. Their head coach is a young guy with a brilliant future and a CLASS ACT.

They gotta lot of time to make up if they want to get me back.
I dang near hung it up after the 2020 nonsense and the cop hater took over the NFL.
Didn't they have a pair of cop haters making that noise they do for halftime?
Didn't watch a minute all season.

Had to catch up on some late night work, as well as help my dad with a shower. Did watch some of the game. Honestly, no where close to a fan of either team, but was hoping the Bengals would have won it.

Did want to see if there were any good commercials. The time I did watch the game, had to laugh as I was trying to figure out exactly what Matthew McConaughey was "selling". Fell over dead when it was salesforce. I despise that software and have yet to meet anyone who works for large corporations who use it.

It’s frustrating and I applaud your resistance.
NFL still has a huge following.
I like most of the players and coaches and the of course the game itself, but I hate the NFL organization. NFL and Goodell bends itself like a pretzel to appease what is acceptable to what the main stream media says.

I understand the reasons, many listed in previous posts, not to like the NFL. I agree with most but still enjoy it mainly do to the time with family. My father in-law is a huge chiefs fan and we rarely miss a game. Everyone gathers at our house each week and we try to have lunch or dinner as well depending on game time. One of the few times we all get together as a family. We have so many great memories and often laugh until it hurts. I just can't imagine giving up that family time over a political grievance as I doubt we would find another reason to get together that many times during the year.

Didn't even know it was on yesterday until the half pints asked if they could go to the the church youth group super bowl party. Asked the boy this morning how the game was and he said he watched until the first commercial break then got board and some of the boys just played cards. Said it's fun to play football, not fun to watch it on TV and I can't argue with him. They did truly lose any chance with me once all the anthem and anti-police stuff started.

I understand, just skip supporting the woke companies that fund this anti American ****. It is all about money and the blatant lack of "them" understanding their actual customer, and not the approval of the minority media and their socialist agenda.
For the most part I do but on the NFL I've decided the family time is more important to me. I could do without the NFL, wouldn't bother me any, but it's something several family members enjoy so if they want to watch the games I'll enjoy the time I'm able to spend with them.
