Those bars on top of the loader are for the self leveling loader. It will keep the bucket somewhat level keeping your load while you raise it. It just moves the bucket for you so your load does not spill

Hey Brown! No, not the self levelers, the small bars on top of those. IMG_1869.JPGIMG_1870.JPG

These are secured on top of the leveler arms to provide a safety stop for the loader when fully raised. Notice the left end, it’s shaped to fit around the cross pin and the cylinder end is flat.

Splithoof is right. If your loader does not have these, you need to get them ASP.
Anytime you are working under a raised loader, you need to use them. It one of those things that may only happen once in a 1000 times, but if it does happen, you are dead.

You are welcome. Sorry if I got a little too chatty!

I don't believe that is even possible, especially when talking about ones new toy, so chatter away; after all isn't this why we all come here in the first place!

Well I would have loved to have talked one on one with a owner before we made our purchase so I’m happy to oblige!

I never even saw those. Yes those are really nice to hold the loader up while you do work.

I just looked one over a couple weeks ago. I liked the 3 speed pto option for haying. The 750 pto speed or economy 540 as some call it would be nice to throttle back and run 540 implements at lower engine rpms.

I use the 750 pto about half the time. Just make sure you match the engine rpms and gear your in, to get the right ground speed. I have to watch myself to keep the pto speed around 540 . My old equipment can not handle much faster than that.

Hey these seem to be the same as the Kioti equivalent in many areas. Do they share the same engine, trans and cab? The Kioti has a clutch button though on the shifter.

No they are completely different from Kioti, different engines, cabs and transmissions. They are separate companies.

Okay then what about the similar size Mahindra offers?

TYM does make tractors for Mahindra. The current models they make are the 26xx, 25xx series and the MForce and EMAX. They are built to Mahindra specs with a most with a Mahindra engine. I think the MForce uses the same Doosan engine TYM uses for the 105 hp tractor. Some have Mahindra loaders some TYM built loaders. The TYM built Mahindra’s are very popular.

When we were looking at tractors, we looked at the MForce 105 and it’s made by TYM and is identical to our 1054 but the Mahindra was priced $20k higher. I couldn’t believe that.

I likewise looked at Mahindra, but only to figure why they wanted over $10K more for the very same machine (TYM T1005C). Although the T1054 and the equivalent Mahindra-badged machines were out when I bought in late 2016, I wanted a new Tier 3 100hp. I wanted the CAT/Perkins engine and liked the way they looked over the newer models. Luckily I found one and have been delighted ever since.

Did it have the plastic fenders on it, that was kinda of a turnoff for me when I was checking em out

Nice tractor Split, I had a small Mahindra made by TYM and it was a great machine. I believe you will be very satisfied with that beast.

On the fence here. I have a chance to buy a used T1054, or I may buy a new T754.
Wondering if SplitHoof or anybody else that cares to chime in on how theirs is after some hours have been clocked on.

Hi TimberFarm

I only have about 400hrs on mine. I have a recent issue of the engine loosing its prime if it sets longer than a day. I haven’t been able to track down that issue. It will start right up and run for 7-10 seconds then die. Then it cranks over a few times and starts up and is fine. I can stop work for a few hours and it will start back up without issue. But if it sets longer than a day, it just losses it’s fuel prime. If I pump the prime bulb on the fuel filter until it’s primed, no issues.
My only other gripe is when all the fluids are hot and you are at 540 PTO rpm, there is a annoyingly loud harmonic that is eliminated 100 rpm up or down. It’s not a trouble noise but something in the PTO mechanics generates this frequency that is mind numbing when bush hogging. It’s been that way since day one. No worse and no better.
Other than that, I have no regrets. It’s a workhorse and we are very happy.

Thanks for that reply!
This thread was kind of old and just revived it with my fingers crossed.
Thanks again.
